video : Parcines
On the slope above Parcines, there are the two mountain villages of Tablà and Monte Sole. Embedded in a great natural landscape, from these hamlets you can enjoy a breathtaking view on the valley and the opposite mountain peaks. Moreover they represent an ideal starting point for innumerable hikes and mountain tours.
Only a stone’s throw from the village, there is the waterfall of Parcines, which is one of the most impressive in the Alps, cascading about 97 m down into the depth. Particularly impressive is this natural monument in the period of the snow melt from May to June or after heavy rainfall.
