If you look towards Parcines from Tel, you will immediately see the huge waterfall on the rock faces of the Val di Tel valley. With a drop of 97 metres, the Partschinser Wasserfall, how it is called in German, is one of the highest of South Tyrol. Depending on rainfall or the intensity of snow melt on the peaks of the mighty Texel Group, it carries between 4,000 and 10,000 litres of water per second. Beautiful: Depending on the solar radiation, there might sometimes be a rainbow.

If you would like to admire the astonishing power of water, we recommend you the 3-hour hike to the Parcines Waterfall. The path takes you from the village of Parcines across the Val di Tel, on the Parcines Waalweg path to Tablà - Monte Sole, and finally downhill to the waterfall. The best viewpoint can be reached from the Wasserfall tavern in a walk of 10 minutes and is located right underneath the waterfall. In the high season, there is also a bus running from Parcines village.

Also interesting: the so-called Terrain Cure. It is a special form of exercise therapy and climate therapy originating in France. The Terrain Cure resp. Terrain Hiking should improve health and fitness for the heart and circulation by activity adapted to one's fitness level, endurance training and time spent in the outdoors. So one learns to use the own strength and to achieve beneficial effects on health and the body. In Parcines you may try it on the Terrain Cure Path no. 6: It takes you to the Parcines Waterfall, whose atomised water is used for therapeutic purposes.
