At the entrance of Valle Anterselva, there is the village of Rasun di Sotto.
Located at 1,030 m asl at the entrance of Valle Anterselva, there is the village of Rasun di Sotto, located in the heart of green meadows and surrounded by the Vedrette di Ries at the head of the valley. Rasun di Sotto has got about 700 inhabitants, its parish church is dedicated to S. Giovanni and dates back to the year 1,070. Castel Rasun Vecchia, one of the mansions of the village, used to be the legal court of the counts of the Val Pusteria.
Only 3 km away, there is the famous Plan de Corones, which in summer is a popular hiking area and in winter it attracts winter sports passionates. Another way to get moving is the cycle track of the Valle Anterselva. And of course you absolutely have to visit the Lake Anterselva.
By the way: particularly worth seeing is the Goller residence, one of the most beautiful examples for the fusion of farmstead and mansion.
