The Watles Adventure Mountain in the Val Venosta awaits you in summer with E-Trials, mountain carts and lots of water fun

Above Burgusio near Malles, a small summer paradise has been created: At the mountain station of the Watles Lift, a sign proclaims "Berg 360°" (Mountain at 360 degrees) at 2,150 metres above sea level. The view here extends to the glaciers of the Ortles Alps, which are covered in snow and ice even in summer. This is where the family adventure begins. On the tubing track, it's not just children who slide down to the play lake on large tyres. On the lake, in the 1,500 sqm area below the mountain station, Funballz invite you to explore the water from inside a giant plastic ball.
If you don't want to get your feet wet, you can pan for gold, dig for diamonds or have fun in the climbing area. You won't just see young children here - teenagers and adults also try their hand at the climbing walls. Wooden loungers on the Alpine meadows and the Plantapatsch Hut invite you to relax and enjoy the surroundings. If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, you can put your muscles to the test: The Watles 3D Archery Course runs through the Alpine meadows.
Above the play lake, E-Trials await motorcyclists of all ages. The electric motocross bikes are becoming increasingly popular - this is one of the few places in South Tyrol to offer them. The return journey down to the valley can be made by cable car, which will be replaced by a gondola lift in 2026, or on the mountain carts, known as "Watles Riders".
The four-kilometre-long forest path serves as a toboggan run in winter and leads to the valley station. A particularly special alternative is tandem paragliding, offered from the Alpine meadows on Mt. Watles. The view as you glide down into the Upper Val Venosta is magnificent. In the cold season, the Watles becomes a skiing area with a winter hiking trail and cross-country ski tracks.
