A few minutes' walk from the centre of San Candido village, the four-seater chairlift starts on Mount Baranci. The popular excursion destination is not only the starting point for numerous easy hikes, but also offers several attractions for families right at the mountain station. Everything here revolves around Giant Baranci's Kingdom, and this already starts at the eponymous mountain hut at 1,650 m a.s.l., where Giant's Baranci Kids' Party is celebrated every Friday in summer.
You can also discover the new Realm of the Giant Baranci on the Giant's Realm Circular Trail. This also includes the Dwarf Village with rustic tree houses and suspension bridges, the "Dwarf Course" high ropes course and the Barefoot Lakes. Actually, it was a little child who once drank from a miraculous spring and became strong as a bear afterwards... And at the end of the day the Fun Bob summer toboggan run is a good alternative for the descent!
In winter then, the Monte Baranci turns into one of the wonderful ski mountains of the 3 Zinnen Dolomites Ski Resort in the Upper Val Pusteria.

The group rate applies also to families of at least two adults and two children. The 3 Zinnen Mountain Card (1 day / 3 days in 4 / 5 days in 7 / 5 days in 10) is also available.
The opening hours correspond to those of the chairlift providing access to the Realm of the Giant: It operates daily from late May to mid-October. Giant's Baranci Kids' Party is celebrated every Friday of July and August on the large play meadow in front of the mountain hut.
