In the sports zone of Falzes village, at 996 metres a.s.l., visitors young and old can set off on a forest adventure that has many a surprise in store. The meanwhile well-known Falzes LandArt Trail - "LandArt-Weg Pfalzen" in German, "Percorso LandArt" in Italian - combines the tranquillity and pleasant coolness of the forest with some special artworks created along the way.
In one place a moss manikin clings to a tree, in another there are huge mushrooms made of wood. The special thing about it: The seven artists from Falzes work with natural materials, because it should be art in and with nature that decorates the LandArt Trail. And so it always presents itself in a different way, because the works of art weather and change with time.
They symbolize the passing and becoming of nature. The hike, which is slightly more than 2 kilometres long, is pleasant to walk and can be done in one hour (trail no. 5A). The difference in altitude of about 50 metres along the Falzes LandArt Trail is hardly noticeable.
