In Campo Tures you won't find a traditional Christmas market in the village centre but an enchanting Christmas forest. Near Cantuccio (Bad Winkel) right outside the village, a winter hiking path takes you to the impressive Riva Waterfalls. Small wooden huts between the trees and carved wooden animals living in the forest are only some of the masterpieces created by local artisans. If you would like to visit the first waterfall you can take a carriage which takes you there every 20 minutes starting from 3 pm.
Advent in Tures (Taufrer Advent) takes place on the December weekends and delights visitors with a varied programme. The Goasroscht cheese dairy awaits you with roasted chestnuts, cheese tastings and a cosy Christmas café upstairs. In the shop of the Sheep Wool Museum you will find inspiration for Christmas presents and especially warm clothes and household products. In the garden of the museum you can eat hot sausages and have a drink.
Do not miss the St. Nicholas and the Krampus parades, try the Feuerzangenbowle (a delicious, hot Christmas punch), biscuits and cakes and taste the traditional "Melchermuis". The Advent in Tures is easily accessible by bus. From the bus stop Campo Tures Cascate the Christmas market can be reached after a short walk. Furthermore, the Taufra Xmas Sessions with live music and fire shows are held in different villages between Campo Tures and Molini di Tures.
