Advent in Tures Taufers

In Campo Tures, you won't find a typical Christmas Market, but rather a Christmas Forest. Near Cantuccio (Bad Winkel), just outside the village, a winter hiking trail leads to the impressive Riva Waterfalls. In addition, during the Advent and Christmas period, the Advent in Tures Taufers features live sessions in various venues and a very special market in Molini di Tures.

Cantuccio and the Enchanted Forest:

The Advent in Tures Taufers (Taufrer Advent) takes place every afternoon at the December weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and features a varied programme. Between the trees, you will discover small wooden huts and wooden forest animals - all examples of local craftsmanship.

The Goasroscht dairy entices visitors with a cosy Christmas café on the upper floor. In the shop of the Sheep Wool Museum in Cantuccio (Bad Winkel), you will find original gift ideas - many cosy and useful items to wear and for the home – and in the garden, there are hot sausages and drinks.

If you wish, you can take a leisurely ride through the Enchanted Forest in a horse-drawn carriage: It departs every 20 minutes from 3 pm to the first waterfall.

The Advent Village in Molini:

Molini di Tures traditionally begins the Advent season with the "Kothreinemorscht", St. Catherine's Market on November 22: As far back as the 17th century, merchants and farmers would gather here to sell their goods. Even today, the old market regulations are still read out.

In the "Kothreinedorf", you can look forward to interesting and reflective highlights on all four weekends in December, such as the "Klöcklnachtsinger", a living nativity scene and - for your culinary delight - delicious, steaming "Melchamuis", originally a typical meal for dairy farmers.

Taufra Xmas sessions:

The "Taufra Xmas Sessions" take place at various locations between Campo Tures and Molini di Tures. On six evenings between the end of November and the beginning of January, a bar or hotel hosts live music with a campfire atmosphere, as well as regional food and drinks.

6 evenings, 6 concerts - featuring "Bob & The Traffic Jam", the Coffeecult Acoustic Trio and Endophine Acoustic Trio, the singer and songwriter Yunger, Michael Astner and "Dirty Lovers".

Getting to the Advent in Tures Taufers:

The Advent in Tures Taufers is easily accessible by bus. From the "Campo Tures, Cascade" bus stop, it is only a short walk to the Enchanted Forest. The 450 bus line runs through the valley and stops in both Molini di Tures and Campo Tures. With the SouthTyrol Guest Pass, you can use this bus line, like all public transport in South Tyrol, for free.

There is a paid car park at the start of the hiking trail to the Riva Waterfalls. In Molini di Tures (Mühlen in Taufers), the car park north of the church has 54 spaces.
