From the Val Badia, the panoramic summit of the Crep de Dodesc is accessible - not to be confused with the Croda dei Toni in the Sesto Dolomites which in German bears the same name: Zwölferkofel. In summer, it represents an interesting mountain tour, and in winter, a relatively easy ski tour in the Puez-Odle Nature Park. It offers a magnificent panorama of the Puez Group, the mighty Sasso Putia and the Sasso della Croce Group. The starting point for the hike is the Cialdires car park near Longiarù, a hamlet of San Martino in Badia.
After the riding stables, path no. 9 begins (signpost "Antersasc-Puezhütte"): It leads us along a gravel road, ascending gently towards the Passo Juel. After about half an hour's walk, the signposted cart track, which later turns into a mountain path, branches off to the right into the Valle d'Antersasc. It is an idyllic valley with a magnificent natural landscape.
Soon after, we turn onto the forest road on path no. 6 leading into the valley. At a board with information on the Puez-Odle Nature Park, the mountain path leads up to the entrance of the wide basin of the Antersasc Mountain Hut (Zwischenkofelalm) at 2,085 metres above sea level. After the hut, we encounter the signpost "Puezhütte" and leave path no. 6 there: We now proceed to the right along the clearly visible mountain path with ground markings.
After a ridge, we cross hollows and overcome knolls until we stand in a wide basin. Briefly left again, and then the tour takes us in a wide right-hand curve over mountain meadows northwards onto the broad summit dome. The last few metres lead us almost on the flat over to the large summit cross on the Crep de Dodesc at an altitude of 2,394 metres. The view is simply fantastic. We then descend via the same route, arriving back at the car park in Longiarù after three and a half hours of pure walking time on this July day.
