Circular walk from the village of Nova Ponente across meadows and through woods to the Wölflhof farm and back

What is there to do on a day that promises low cloud and a high chance of light rain? The high mountains are probably not the best choice, and we will also skip the alpine pastures today in favour of a more leisurely walk through the meadows and woods around the village of Nova Ponente. An umbrella is, of course, an essential item to bring along.
The car park is located behind the church. From there, we walk along path "K" (Kirchweg), which leads us for about two kilometres through the meadows before entering the woods. Here, we follow marker no. 10B and then no. 10 towards the Wölflhof. The final section is asphalted. This is the Monte Regolo area, the plateau surrounding the Val d'Ega and Aldino.
The Wölflhof, a traditional farm tavern with a terrace, is an excellent place to stop for a break or a hearty lunch. After a relaxing rest, we walk back to Nova Ponente along path no. 2 (E5). We reach the village after two hours walking time.
