Advent in Tures Taufers

Campo Tures has not brought its Christmas Market to the village centre, but has transformed it into a Christmas Forest: At Cantuccio (Bad Winkel) outside the village, a Christmas road leads up to the Riva Waterfall with its illuminated "Christusfelsen" rock. It is lighted on the Advent weekends and on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8. Here, small wooden huts stand in the forest and forest animals hide among the trees, works of art made by local artisans.

The Advent in Tures Taufers comprises two further locations and events: Besides the Christmas Forest, there are the "Taufra Xmas Sessions" in different bars and inns between Campo Tures and Molini di Tures, and the "Advent Village" in Molini with open fire and the "Klöcklnachtsingen" carols. Also an Advent concert in the parish church and an evening walk to Tures Castle are part of the offer. By the way, in Molini, the Advent season is opened with the traditional "Kothreinemorscht", the Market of St. Catherine. The Feast of the Saint is celebrated on November 25 - it is an old rural feast day, which has been revived a decade ago by the "Mühlener Kothreine-Verein" club.
