The municipality Vandoies is located at the entrance of the Val Pusteria valley, its municipal territors stretches up to the Punta Bianca Bassa in the Monti di Fundres mountains, a subgroub of the Zillertal Alps. This mountain range delimits the Val di Fundres in its north. A high path that stretches across these mountains is the Alta Via di Fundres, which is still considered an insiders' tip.
What you don't have to miss is a guided walk on the Via dei Masi trail in Fundres, which provides an insight into the history and traditions of the valley. A pleasure for kids, however, is the recreation area with huge playground in Vandoies di Sotto. The Loden Museum in Vandoies di Sopra is another must-see for your family holidays.
