Vandoies comprises the villages of Vandoies di Sotto, Vandoies di Sopra, Vallarga and fundres and is delimited by the Monti di Fundres mountains.

The municipality Vandoies has got 3,200 inhabitants and is located at the entrance of the Val Pusteria valley, its municipal territors stretches from 722 m asl up to the Punta Bianca Bassa (3,263 m) in the Monti di Fundres mountains, a subgroub of the Zillertal Alps. This mountain range delimits the Val di Fundres in its north. A high path that stretches across these mountains is the Alta Via di Fundres, which is still considered an insiders’ tip.
What you don’t have to miss is a guided walk on the Via dei Masi trail in Fundres, which provides an insight into the history and traditions of the valley. A pleasure for kids, however, is the recreation area with huge playground in Vandoies di Sotto. The Loden Museum in Vandoies di Sopra is another must-see for your family holidays.
