The outdoor swimming pool in Salorno village can be found on the edge of the village and combines several pools and leisure facilities. Like all outdoor pools in South Tyrol, it attracts schoolchildren enjoying their summer holidays, families relaxing in the countryside and sports enthusiasts looking for a cool dip after a hike or bike ride in the often really hot months from May to September: The Bassa Atesina Cycle Path takes you on two wheels from Bolzano to Salorno.
Here in the sports zone of Salorno, where there is also a large car park, football pitches and bowling alleys, the Salorno outdoor pool features an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a children's pool, a diving pool and a swimming pool with a water slide. The outdoor swimming pool, which covers an area of 7,000 sqm, also has a beach volleyball court and a restaurant with pizzeria and two terraces for an atmospheric and delicious end of the day.

Depending on the weather, the start and end dates of the swimming season at all outdoor pools in South Tyrol may be shortened or extended at short notice, or postponed to another day.
The swimming season for 2026 is expected to begin on May 30.
