The outdoor swimming pool in Lagundo is the first outdoor pool in South Tyrol with a salt water system

Like the Lido in Lana and the one in Scena, the Lagundo outdoor swimming pool is also managed by the RömerGroup. A children's pool and a water mushroom, a whirlpool and a bubble floor, a children's slide and a sports pool - all this makes up the Lido of Rio Molino di Lagundo (Mühlbach), the main village of the municipality. It is a little hidden on the edge of the village towards Foresta (Forst), another component locality of Lagundo.
Outside the water, there is also table football, a bar with cool drinks, snacks and ice cream, and a large sunbathing lawn with panoramic view on Foresta Castle and the Gruppo di Tessa Nature Park. At the edge of the sunbathing lawn, some charming details create a special flair and invite you to pause for a moment. In the high summer months, the outdoor swimming pool is open until dusk. Afterwards, the neighbouring restaurant serves excellent Italian pizza.

Depending on the weather, the start and end dates of the swimming season at all outdoor pools in South Tyrol may be shortened or extended at short notice, or postponed to another day.
The swimming season for 2026 is expected to begin in mid-May or at the end of May.
