The holiday resort of Tirolo above the spa town of Merano has its own water park: the public outdoor swimming pool

The open-air swimming pool in Tirolo village, which can be found in the Via Gnaid road on the edge of the village, is called "Public Swimming Pool Wasserpark". The bus stop also has the same name. The 33 metre long and 15 metre wide stainless steel swimming pool is for swimmers, while the separate pool with baby slide is for non-swimmers and children.
As in many places in South Tyrol, the locals simply call their outdoor pool Lido. The panoramic swimming pool was designed in the style of a Roman thermal bath and is particularly impressive with its view on the mountains of the Merano region, a wonderful setting for the Mediterranean midsummer days in Tirolo village. The outdoor pool is open from May to September.
