The Burgerhof impresses with two cosy parlours and a beautiful view over the Bressanone valley basin

With its unique view on Bressanone the Burgerhof is a popular destination for gourmets. Whether in one of the two parlours or on the terrace, guests can expect seasonal specialities, organic wines and meat from the farm's own suckler cows. The Burgerhof has been practising organic farming for over 30 years.

Every week a new small menu, home-made bread, "Speck" and cheese dumplings, home-made pasta and ravioli, dishes made from farm cattle. "Buchteln" buns, plum dumplings, "Krapfen" pastries, cakes. In spring "Pizzoccheri", wild herb risotto, nettle dumplings. In autumn, barley and celeriac-apple soup, fritters, potato fried pancakes, braised meat with winter vegetables. Cordials: apple, elderflower, lemon balm, peach and grape.

On the farm, wines called Ackerlen, Weißlahn and a sparkling wine are produced from own grapes.

Opening times

Open from mid-September to the 2nd weekend in Advent and from early April to mid-June. Opening hours: Saturday from noon and Sunday from noon to 3 pm. In autumn also open on Thursdays and Fridays from 6 pm. Open in the evening by reservation only. For the rest of the year, reservations are accepted for groups of 20 or more.

Access route: Coming from Bolzano, turn left at the fourth roundabout, pass the Südtiroler Kinderdorf (South Tyrolean Children’s Village) on the left and turn right after the "Thalhofer" residence. Follow the road for approx. 1.5 km to the farm inn (signs).
