The Luggin family serves biological delicacies out of the South Tyrolean farmers cooking.
In the pilgrimage destination of San Nicolò near Caldaro family Luggin has established a very particular farm inn. A farm shop with numerous own products and a rustic cellar waits for the guests. Here typical specialities of the South Tyrolean farmers cooking as well as juices, wines and distillates from the own organic production can be tasted.
Home-made bread, speck, various soups, salads, dumplings as well as ravioli with seasonal fillings, meat dishes, home-made sausages with cabbage and meat cuts – this is only a short abstract of delicacies which are seasonally dished up at the farm inn.
The home-grown wines go perfect with these traditional foods. “Odorus” - a cuvèe of Pinot Blanc and Gewürztraminer, “Montvin” - a light red wine and the red “Lavardi” want to be tasted. Homemade juices, like apple, apple-blackcurrant, grape, elderflower, blackcurrant and raspberry juice complete the range excellently.

Open from mid-March to mid-December from 5 pm to 11 pm. Closed from Monday to Wednesday. In July and August closed from Thursday to Saturday. Booking recommended.
From the centre of Caldaro towards the Passo Mendola until the entrance to the district of San Nicolò. Park your car here and walk the last 200 metres to the farm inn. The Steffelehof is also reachable by the citybus of Caldaro and the public bus coming from Bolzano.
