Two snug parlours invite to take a seat and to get spoiled with typical South Tyrolean specialities.
The Gostnerhof farm in Barbiano is located at the sunny part of the Valle Isarco valley. Between colourful grapevines guests can enjoy fantastic South Tyrolean farmers cooking. A large children’s playground attracts the little guests.
Speck, smoked sausage, barley soup, spinach ravioli, meat cuts with house sausage and kraut and on request cheese gnocchi, various soups, spinach, speck or black plantain dumplings, roast lamb, farm roast, potato cakes, apple strudel, cakes and fritters – this is only a short abstract of delicacies which are seasonally dished up at the Gostnerhof farm inn.
The home-grown wines go perfectly with these South Tyrolean specialities. Müller-Thurgau, Vernatsch, Zweigelt and Pinot Noir can be tasted. Homemade juices, like raspberry, elderflower and apple juice complete the range best.
