A small mountain lake in Luson turns into a natural bathing pond with a water slide in summer

Above the centre of Luson village, ideally combinable with a short hike or mountain bike tour, the natural swimming pond opens its doors in the summer months from June to August. It is a mountain lake with fantastic fresh water, surrounded by the relaxing nature of the plateau in the Valle Isarco valley. White water lilies and green reed, mountains and blue sky alternate in colour here. In between, the colourful swimming costumes and towels of the visitors.
The water of the pond is cleaned without chemicals, as the name already indicates, making a trip to Luson also suitable for allergy sufferers and visitors with sensitive skin. Parking spaces are available, and the kiosk offers snacks and drinks for a carefree summer day by and in the water.

Depending on the weather, the start and end dates of the swimming season at all outdoor pools in South Tyrol may be shortened or extended at short notice, or postponed to another day.
The Luson bathing pond is accessible in case of fine weather. The swimming season for 2026 is expected to begin at the end of May or in early June.
