In the Val Passiria valley, a sky-blue adventure pool perfectly fits into the village of San Martino

Things are still quiet at the San Martino lido, but as soon as it opens its doors, people will be splashing about and soaking up the sun.

From May to September, visitors can swim, play, relax, chat and enjoy the summer here, seven days a week.

Sun loungers are available for relaxing: The bus stops right outside the San Martino lido - the bus stop itself is called “Schwimmbad”.

The sauna area in the sports centre includes a Finnish sauna, a steam sauna, an infrared cabin and a cold plunge pool.

An adventure pool opens its doors in the Val Passiria from the end of May to the beginning of September. There are two outdoor pools in this popular holiday valley - one in San Martino, the other in San Leonardo. The outdoor pool in San Martino is located in the sports centre of the village and can even easily be reached from Merano by bus 240.

A sports pool, a diving pool and a children's pool provide swimming fun. The peaks of the Val Passiria tower all around and seem to watch young and old enjoying the summer, water and sun. The facility features a beautiful sunbathing lawn, a wooden bridge and some shady trees. In May 2025, a small sauna area and a beach volley field have been added to the sports zone.
