Racines-Giovo skiing area

The Racines-Giovo skiing area in the Alta Val d’Isarco offers 25 km of well-groomed slopes.

The ski region Racines-Giovo is one of the most modern and snowsure skiing areas in South Tyrol. 25 km easy and medium ski slopes, the Fun Park Racines right next to the Enzian chair lift - with wave line, jib line and kicker line - as well as the 5 km long toboggann run, starting at the mountain station and taking you down to the valley station, provide fun and action in your holidays. Moreover there are several restaurants and ski lodges in this skiing area which offer you local delicacies. The Alta Valle Isarco ski pass is valid here, comprising four skiing areas: Racines-Giovo, Malga Calice, Monte Cavallo and Ladurns.

For the racers - or for those who love the speed - there is a permanent slalom slope, where you can compete! Children, however, can look forward to the “Skiland” of the Racines ski school or the ski-kindergarten, where children aged 3 and more can take their first steps on skis and learn how to ski. A free shuttle connects the surrounding localities to the Racines-Giovo skiing area. In 2017 Racines-Giovo has been declared “Insider tip: leading ski resort with up to 30 km of slopes” by skiresort.info.
