Flying Fox Trafoi Canyon

In the newly built Trafoi Climbing Garden, amidst the Ortles Alps, visitors can fly well secured across the Rio Trafoi stream.

Trafoi all'Ortles is a small mountain village on the road to the Passo dello Stelvio: A new climbing garden was built here in 2019, which is widely popular with amateur climbers. It is family-friendly designed and is considered an entry-level via ferrata. On the other hand, a flying fox leads over the Trafoi mountain stream, giving you deep insights into the canyon and a real adrenaline kick.

The start is directly at the car park in Trafoi in the Val Venosta valley, then the zip line takes you in absolute safety 175 m over the rushing mountain stream. Children weighing 25 kg or more are allowed to fly - always under the supervision of the trained staff. If you prefer a leisurely pace, there is also a path that takes you over the bridge below the impressive "King Ortles".
