Lake Colle, a beautiful, small mountain lake and popular destination, is a natural jewel at 1,100 metres above sea level

The hamlet of Burgstall is located one kilometre south-west of the village of Aldino. Our May walk starts here, at the Aldeiner Hof inn. We follow the pleasant forestry track "R" through the mixed forest, which leads us to the Rocce Rosse viewpoint after about 30 minutes.
From here, we have a wonderful panoramic view of the Bassa Atesina area. Far to the south, we can see the Monte Bondone in the Garda Mountains and the still snow-capped Paganella, followed by the Mendola Ridge with the Mendola Pass, Roen and Penegal, and the mountains of the Val d'Ultimo behind. Down in the valley lie Caldaro, the blue patch that is Lake Caldaro, and Ora.
After enjoying this view, we walk further to Lake Colle (Göllersee). Now, in spring, there is hardly anyone around in this area - in summer, many visitors often gather here. We walk around the pond and choose a suitable spot on the porphyry rocks for a rest.
Afterwards, we finish the loop and return to Burgstall after a total walking time of one and a half hours. This is more of a stroll than a real hike, which means that children and dogs can easily complete the loop too - ideal from spring well into autumn.
