A 50 metre sports pool with eight lanes, diving boards, a baby pool and a large sunbathing lawn with a sand playground are the features of the outdoor pool in the town of Brunico, which offers water fun on hot summer days. It is managed together with the Cron4 indoor swimming pool in Riscone. There are also beach volleyball facilities and a café with pizzeria, so you don't have to worry about food and drink either. The outdoor pool is located on the edge of the town next to the new ice rink and is open from the end of May to the end of August.
Then it already becomes fresh in the morning, as Brunico is located at more than 800 metres a.s.l. There are also a few special features awaiting you during these three months: the annual beach volleyball tournament in mid-August and the early morning swim every Thursday from 6 am. There are plenty of parking spaces - nearby, the bus stops and the "Pusterbike" Cycle Path, which runs through the Val Pusteria between Fortezza and San Candido, leads past.

More information
Early-morning swimming every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 am to 8 am. The outdoor pool will remain closed in the event of rain, wind or thunderstorms, or if the outside temperature is between 13 and 15 degrees C.
Depending on the weather, the start and end dates of the swimming season at all outdoor pools in South Tyrol may be shortened or extended at short notice, or postponed to another day.
The swimming season for 2026 is expected to begin in early to mid-June.
