The Mediterranean climate in Merano and surroundings can also be felt in Lana and attracts numerous families, sports enthusiasts, water lovers and groups of friends to the popular Lido Lana in the summer months from May onwards. It is easy to reach: Located just a few metres from the Lana-Postal MeBo exit, you don't have to cross a village or take a small road. The Postal-Lana train station is a 10-minute walk on the other side of the MeBo bridge.
The outdoor swimming pool has an Olympic pool, a diving pool, an activity pool with a maximum water depth of 140 cm and a children's pool. All around are shady trees. The diving tower with its 1 metre, 3 metre and 5 metre diving boards is particularly popular and can be found in only a few swimming pools in South Tyrol. A kiosk with ice cream, snacks and cocktails and a restaurant-pizzeria complete the offer. The Lido Lana has been run by the GrömerGroup for several years, which also manages the Scena panoramic pool and the Lagundo Lido and organises the Lido Summer Nights, very special music events at the Lido Lana in high summer.
