Villandro stretches on a sun-drenched mountain slope in Valle Isarco and comprises lovely localities, that is to say S. Maurizio, S. Stefano, S. Valentino. Striking is above all the natural landscape prevailing in the village, as the municipal territory stretches from the grapevines in the valley floor to the edelweiss in the mountains. Worth visiting is also the ArcheoParc, the show mine as well as the S. Stefano and Lorenzo parish church.
Castelfeder is located in the south of South Tyrol and is a beautiful recreation area. The biotope is home of a varied flora and fauna. Remains of a castle complex from the time about 500 AD confirm the existing of an early medieval settlement.
Already Oswald von Wolkenstein knew that Siusi allo Sciliar was a wonderful place to live at, many centuries ago. Probably he felt the magic of the Sciliar, and watched the witches of the Sciliar dance. For sure he also knew how tasty the local apple strudel is. That’s what we also came to discover in our visit to Siusi allo Sciliar.
Luson is the valley for trekking and walking. Surrounded by the Dolomites, it is the biggest grazing land in South Tyrol. With its stories, traditions, hospitality and its nice and friendly inhabitants, a walk in Luson, near Bressanone, is always a pleasure. A discovery tour in this nice area!
