The Obereggen Skiing Area beneath the mighty Latemar Group stretches from South Tyrol to the Val di Fiemme in the Trentino. The respective Val di Fiemme-Obereggen Ski Pass is valid for the four ski regions Latemar and Passo Oclini in South Tyrol, as well as Alpe Lusia and Alpe Cermis in Pampeago and Predazzo in the neighbouring Val di Fiemme. The Ochsenweide and Oberholz Lifts start in Obereggen, furthermore there's a ski bus between Obereggen, Carezza and Nova Ponente.
The Latemar Ski Center is among the most popular skiing areas in South Tyrol. Several times a week, nighttime skiing is offered at the ski lift of Nova Ponente and in Obereggen - or maybe you might prefer a moonlight tobogganing experience on the Obereggen sledge run, or nighttime snowboarding in the Night Park of the Obereggen Snow Park? Among the highlights on the skis you'll find the "Latemar Sixpack", the six best runs beneath Mt. Latemar with a gradient up to 60 % and a stunning panorama, as well as the "Skimovie Piste 8 (Toler)" slope with its two parallel tracks.
The skiing area is very family-friendly. For children there are the Alpine Coaster Gardonè - the only rail toboggan run of the Trentino - as well as several kids areas, including the Brunoland with the mascot Bruno, the Mini Club, the Snow House, and the Yeti Park, where the Ski and Snowboard School Obereggen helps with the first steps. In order to guarantee the season until April, the ski center features one of Europe's most innovative and computer-operated snowmaking equipment.
