The starting point of the Telves Alpine Pasture Hike is the village of Telves di Sopra on the sunny slope above Racines. In the village centre we follow the signpost no. 5 (Telfer Almen). At the beginning the route follows an asphalt road, which is also used as a sledge run in winter and leads across sunny meadows. As a forest road, our route then continues through the forest. Always on path no. 5 we reach the first of the three mountain pastures, the Malga Freundalm at about 1,720 m a.s.l., where we enjoy the view on the surrounding mountains from the terrace.

But for us the Malga Freundalm is only a stage destination and we continue uphill towards the Malga Kuhalm (start of the middle section, which forms a circular route). It is located at about 1,900 m a.s.l. and also offers a restaurant with traditional food. The Ridanna High Route runs just above the mountain hut, which we then follow towards west. This takes us to the third alpine pasture, the Ochsenalm - also with a stop for refreshments. On path no. 6, which branches off from the high route immediately after the hut, we descend across the alpine meadow landscape and first reach the Freundalm again. From there we take the same path back to the starting point.

Please note: Along the first, asphalted section of the route, there are some parking facilities at the roadside that allow to shorten the route a little.
