The best of South Tyrol's farms is presented in March in the historic Kurhaus in the old town of Merano. The festival was launched in 2023 to raise the awareness of high-quality farm products, which are also linked to the individual seasons. The first edition received an enormously positive response and was therefore seen as the start of another long-standing top event in South Tyrol.

The FarmFood Festival is organised by the "Roter Hahn" quality seal in cooperation with the Merano WineFestival. The supporting programme includes blind tastings of cheese, syrup and South Tyrolean wine as well as cooking shows with top South Tyrolean chefs such as Chris Oberhammer and Andrea Irsara. Also on display are the starting products, the processing methods and the (small) production quantities which, together with the efforts of the South Tyrolean farmers, ensure that the farm products have the high quality and incomparable flavour for which they are famous. Admission is free, advance booking is required. Enjoy!
