As soon as the LanaLive Cultural Festival in June is finished, another one starts: This time, it is not dedicated to different topics, but focusses solely on jazz music. The festival has been held for over 10 years and is organised by the Sweet Alps cultural association under the artistic direction of Helga Plankensteiner and Michael Lösch. During these five days, national and international musicians play classic swing and new jazz at various locations in Lana.

Bistros and cafés become jazz venues, the Galanthus nursery is staying open longer during the event and public places such as the town hall square and the "Am Gries" pedestrian zone are temporarily transformed into concert stages. Young musicians and new talents are in the spotlight, and greats such as Gianluigi Trovesi, Gary Bartz and Uri Caine have already played here. Tickets can be reserved at the Lana Information Office. The start of summer in Lana will be truly unique!
