It all began in the summer of 1999, when the lake stage was set up on Lake Caldaro for the first time: At that time, the lake, a warm summer night, good music and excellent performers were the successful ingredients for the Musical Gala, which showed the best musicals in the world. Other unforgettable events followed in the years to come and made the Lake Stage Performance, which take place on three evenings in July and August, famous far beyond the borders.
Until 2009, musicals were performed, including "Falco Meets Amadeus", "ABBA - Thank you for the music" and "Beatles - All you need is love", but the focus increasingly turned to live music. Internationally renowned artists and new talents have appeared on the lake stage in recent years, including Álvaro Soler, Bonnie Tyler and the 8 Tenors from London. Tickets are in demand!
