Lake Resia Run

It is mid-July when the Lake Resia Run takes place in the far west of South Tyrol, around the sunken tower in the lake

Like the BOclassic South Tyrol and the Caldaro Lake Run, the Lake Resia Run is part of the Top7 running series in South Tyrol. It attracts numerous visitors every year who cheer the athletes competing on the course around South Tyrol's largest lake. The 15.3 km lakeside circuit, usually frequented by cyclists and walkers, is reserved for the top athletes on this day.

The start and finish area is right by the Church Tower in Lake Resia. The route then continues towards south and San Valentino alla Muta, where the crossing of the 460-metre long dam wall is a highlight. Next comes the opposite shore, a slightly hilly and partly shady route towards the valley station of the Belpiano Skiing Area, then to the village of Resia and back to the tower.

A children's run and a Just for Fun run, a competition for hand bikers and one for Nordic walkers are just as much a part of the Lake Resia Run as the festival: A water and light show, DJ music, a farmer's market and sales stands as well as the popular children's programme await you there.
