Every year from September to November, “VinoCulti” offers you culinary delights in the sunny area of Merano and surroundings
Merano and Tirolo, 7 km away, promise a special experience to gourmets and wine lovers. "VinoCulti - Taste the Wine" is an event including culinary weeks, entertainment and high-quality wines, taking place for several weeks between September and November. The participating restaurants offer rustically indulgent and subtly delicious autumn dishes, e.g. with pumpkin, furthermore there are a variety of interesting events, such as beautiful hikes throughout a colourful autumn scenery, wine tastings and lectures.
The events of "VinoCulti", every single one accompanied by a good wine, are subdivided into Wine & Music, Wine & Architecture, Wine & Literature and Merano Wine Promenade. The highlight of these special weeks is the Via del Castello Harvest Festival, taking place along the Castle Path between the village of Tirolo and Castel Tyrol. The harvest festival is dedicated to wine and offers entertainment, live music and autumn dishes. The "VinoCulti" event closes in November, with the official opening of the famous Merano WineFestival in the Kurhaus in Merano.
