In August, the wine village of Caldaro celebrates its famous grape juice: The Caldaro Wine Festival is then on the agenda

Four days of festivities on four special evenings - that's the Caldaro Wine Festival, which is organised in August by the music band from Caldaro. In the Via delle Cantine road at the entrance to Caldaro village there is music and tasting, celebrating and chatting.

Typical dishes include Strauben, various meat dishes and pasta in all variations - and even more important than what's on the table is what's in the glass: the famous wines from Caldaro are a must. The children's corner with face painting, candy floss and roller slide, and the marquee for all weathers - the festival place itself is not covered - round off the programme.

Every five years, the next time again in 2028, the magnificent wine festival parade is also part of the event, in which 20 floats are prepared and pompously parade through the alleys of Caldaro on the Wine Road. The festival begins in the early evening at 6 pm, the "Partybudel" opens at 9 pm. Admission is free (dogs are not allowed on the festival grounds). Are you already in Caldaro in June or July? Then you can also taste wines: at "Caldaro all in Red" and "Caldaro all in White".
