Selected quality products from 90 producers across five regions of South Tyrol are presented at the Kurhaus in Merano

The best of South Tyrol's farms is showcased in March at the historic Kurhaus in Merano. The festival was launched a few years ago to raise awareness of high-quality farm products, which are also tied to specific seasons. It also highlights the raw materials, processing methods and (small) production quantities that, combined with the dedication of South Tyrolean farmers, ensure these farm products possess their high quality and incomparable taste.

The first edition in 2023 received enormously positive feedback and was therefore viewed as the start of another long-running top event in South Tyrol. The FarmFood Festival is organised by the "Roter Hahn" quality seal in cooperation with the Merano WineFestival.

The supporting programme includes guided product tastings focusing on cheese, wine and Speck, cooking shows with top South Tyrolean chefs such as Chris Juliane Niederstätter and Manuel Ebner, and a hands-on workshop with Thomas Ortler. Admission is free, registration is required.
