At the warmest bathing lake in the Alps, Lake Caldaro, there are special open-air concerts every year in July and August
It all began in summer 1999, when the lake stage was set up on Lake Caldaro for the first time: At that time, the lake, a warm summer night, good music and excellent performers were the successful ingredients for the Musical Gala, which showed the best musicals in the world. Other unforgettable events followed in the years to come and made the Lake Stage Performance, which take place on three evenings in July and August, famous far beyond the borders.
Until 2009, musicals were performed here in San Giuseppe al Lago, including "Falco Meets Amadeus", "ABBA - Thank you for the music" and "Beatles - All you need is love", but the focus increasingly turned to live music. Internationally renowned artists and new talents have appeared on the stage in recent years, including Álvaro Soler, Bonnie Tyler, James Blunt, Nico Santos, Bonnie Tyler, Nena and many others. Where on summer days the wooden landing stage of the Lake Caldaro Lido invites to swim and soak up the sun, the stage is built up for these three evenings. Tickets are in high demand!
