Speikboden Skiing Area

Surrounded by the 84 three-thousanders of the Valle Aurina valley lies the snow-sure Speikboden Skiing Area. The Speikboden Gondola Lift whisks you from the large car park in Costa di Tures, near Campo Tures, up to the ski resort. At the car park, you'll also find the Family Fun Park with magic carpets, a snow castle, and a practice slope - a true adventure land for children.

Further up, at the Seenock lift, the popular Speikboden Snow Park awaits. Wide slopes, cosy mountain igloos for overnight stays, varied terrain, and modern lifts are the hallmarks of Speikboden. The longest descent is the 7-kilometre valley run. For experts, the Gamsleiten and Seenock slopes offer a challenge. 11 ski huts invite you to stop for refreshments. At the highest point, at 2,400 metres, an observation tower provides breathtaking panoramic views.

Speikboden is part of the SkiWorld Ahrntal, which, in addition to the Speikboden, also includes the Klausberg Ski Arena, and the lifts in Rio Bianco and Riva di Tures. A single ski pass allows you to explore over 80 km of slopes in various locations throughout the Aurina Valley.

The ski region also boasts the Rio Bianco toboggan and ski route, and the 10-kilometre Lutago toboggan run, which, along with the one at the Monte Cavallo, is among the longest ones in South Tyrol. These toboggan runs start at the mountain station and are considered easy to navigate.
