In the panelled parlour from the 17th century with masonry heater the Schenk family dishes up delicacies from kitchen and cellar.

Lajen-Ried is well known as the cradle of the "Törggele" culture, when the season's new wine is served up with accompanying farmhouse fare in autumn. However, guests will enjoy a stop here at any time of year. The Schenk family dishes up seasonal delicacies from the garden and wine cellar in the 17th century panelled farmhouse parlour both in winter and spring.

The 2019 cuvée of Müller Thurgau, Kerner and Gewürztraminer is fruity and floral with delicate apple and tulip aroma. The wine impresses the palate with its fresh acidity. An unmistakable aroma of cherry and fiery acidic structure are what distinguish the 2019 Portugieser. The 2019 Zweigelt is fruity and displays pleasant tannic structure on the palate.

Access route: From Chiusa towards Val Gardena. Just before the junction to Laion after the bus stop first turn right and then left again. After 500 m the Buchnerhof farm is located on the right (second house).
