The Gustav Mahler Cultural Centre in Dobbiaco is the venue for the festival of “handmade music”
The Euregio Cultural Centre in Dobbiaco: Once a hotel and, in the late 19th century, a meeting point for the nobility, artists, and composers, today it is a building where music fills the air and festivals are held. One of these is the Winto.klong Festival, which gathers the most defining songwriters of recent years in Dobbiaco. The 2026 edition runs under the motto "Best of".
Different voices meet different moods and different tones: music is performed and sung here in German, Italian and Ladin. The stage hosts and has hosted musicians such as Annika Borsetto, who focuses on pop, folk, and jazz, the Ladin duo Gota, Sepp Messner Windschnur with his famous dialect music, and the Bolzano singer-songwriter Chiara Veronese.
The Winto.klong Festival takes place over one day at the end of January - in addition to the concerts, workshops and networking opportunities are planned. However, music is also of great importance at other locations and dates in Dobbiaco: For instance, the Gustav Mahler Composing Hut is located in Carbonin Vecchia, and the Alta Pusteria Choir Festival takes place in June.
