Appiano/Monte is known for its excellent wine-growing areas, where loam and limestone gravel soils give the fine wines their unique aromas. Monika and Hannes produce Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Souvignier Gris here in the historic cross-vaulted cellar of the winery. The wine is unfiltered and not clarified, and is bottled and corked by hand.
