At the Hochgruberhof farm the Oberhollenzer family produces soft and semi-hard cheeses from raw cow’s milk.

Hochgruberhof farm, set at 1,650m above sea level, is one of the highest-lying mountain farms in Mühlwald valley. The family particularly care about their cattles' species-appropriate rearing and feeding. The hay milk from Pinzgau cattle is carefully turned into different types of cheese by hand on the farm. The natural rind and unmistakeable taste mean that the cheese is a popular quality product.
Access route: From Mühlwald/Selva dei Molini, go in the Lappach/Lappago direction. Turn left into Gornerstrasse when you reach a chapel on the left hand side. Follow this road for about 4 km up the hill and then downhill again to Hochgruberhof farm.
