At the Hagneralm farm soft, semi-hard and hard cheeses are produced.
The Kafmann family have created a paradise for themselves at an altitude of 1,550 m and breathe in mountain air all year round. Surrounded by numerous animals, the dairy farmer produces a wide variety of cheese from April to October using only fresh milk from the Tyrolean "Grauvieh" breed. These horned cattle get exercised nightly and produce high quality milk as a result, creating ideal conditions for excellent cheese.

Access route: Turn off left in the "Hagnerweg" direction at Tourist Information in the centre of Welschnofen/Nova Levante. After the small bridge, walking along the Hagnerweg will take you to Hagneralm in 45 minutes. Hagneralm may also be reached from Nigerpass/Passo Nigra.
