At the Fasslerhof farm the climate of the Val Pusteria valley gives rise to many delicacies
At the edge of the village of Villabassa, on a gentle hill, lies the Fasslerhof. Berries and wild fruits grow around the farm and are processed into fine fruit spreads and syrups. Two special fruits are also grown here: Chokeberry and Sea Buckthorn. These wild fruits, native to the Nordic countries, thrive particularly well in the climate of the Val Pusteria valley.
Access route: Turn off at the main square at Niederdorf in the direction of the parish church and drive over the bridge. Just behind, turn off right and follow the side road 100 m until you reach the fire station. Turn off left there and follow the road 150 m to the farm.
