At the Gatscher-Hof farm delicious cheeses, yoghurt and butter from raw cow’s milk are produced
The Innerhofer family takes great care of their livestock, which is why the cattle graze on the mountain pasture from April to October. This fact is reflected in their good condition, the quality of the hay milk and the taste of the cheese specialities. Visitors can go on a tour of the cowshed and the new cheese dairy to find out how milk gets turned into cheese and taste it in the new farm shop.
Access route: Coming from Brixen/Bressanone, turn left off the Pustertaler Straße 500 m before Kiens/Chienes (follow signs) and continue on the road for 200 m until you reach the farm. The farm shop is open on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9.00 - 11.00 am and from 4.00 - 7.00 pm on Wednesdays.
